Wood Splitting Wood Splitting at the Wood Shed. Directions: Just past the park gatehouse, take a right down the campground road. Between the two campgrounds you will see a wood plank shed off the road on the right side. Generally you will see a few cars parked off the side of the road as well. If you pass the playground area, you have gone too far.
Please bring clothes that can get dirty, ear and eye protection, gloves, water, and sturdy shoes. Power-bar or snack if you like.
Wood splitting generally runs from about 9:00 am until noon.
