Virginia State Parks allows the use of only class one and class two electric power-assisted bicycles on any bicycle path or trail designated for such use. Acceptable E-bikes for use on trails in Pocahontas State Park must also include a chain-type drivetrain, pedals and bicycle-type seat.
Not allowed on trails: Electric motorcycles, Electric UTVs, and other similar throttle-operated and motorized offroad vehicles.
