Two Bald Eagles Released at Pocahontas State Park

On Wednesday August 13th, the Wildlife Center of Virginia organized an exciting release of two rehabilitated juvenile (and wild) eagles at Pocahontas State Park.  The event was open to the public.  The first eagle was brought out in a large crate and after a spoken introduction by WCoV staff, the eagles were brought out to make their return to the sky.  For more info on the event, see the here.
