Board elections next month

The Friends of Pocahontas State Park is a volunteer 501c3 organization committed to support of Virginia's largest state park (Pocahontas S.P.)  FoPSP supports the park through fundraising programs and volunteer efforts including firewood operations for the campground, interpretive program support, financial support of operational and construction activities, event support (Pocahontas Premiers, Park After Dark), and trail construction and maintenance on the 40+ miles of mountain bike trails at Pocahontas.  Currently our FoPSP board is seeking nominations for board member and assistant board member positions.  To be considered, please join us on our next monthly meeting on December 19th.
